For users who already have an active account then all their previous Kindle purchase can be easily transfer to iPhone or iPod. If the users happen to have a Kindle and an iPhone, Amazon’s program will handily sync the two so the user can keep their place in the same book on both devices. As similar to Kindle, the iPhone application allows users to change the text size on the screen, add bookmarks, notes and highlights. This free application arrives just a few weeks after Amazon unveiled the second-generation Kindle and can be downloaded from Apple’s online application store.

Snow Leopard To Be Released June 8th

David Zeiler for the Baltimore Sun suggests that WWDC 2009 will take place June 7-June12 and that Apple will launch Snow Leopard on June 8th.

David came to his conclusion by looking at the Moscone Center schedule.
However, as I looked at the schedule, I noticed another generic “Corporate meeting” scheduled for Moscone West -- for June 6-June12. That’s the second week of June, the correct number of days, and ends on a Friday (WWDC nearly always ends on a Friday).

Yes, June 6 is a Saturday, but last year a similar generic listing on the Moscone Web site had the event starting on Sunday June 8 when the official start date was actually June 9. That means WWDC’s official start date this year probably will be June 7, a Sunday – unusual but not unprecedented. Back in 2005 WWDC’s official first day was a Sunday.

Since the keynote is typically delivered on a Monday its possible that June 8th would the day Snow Leopard is announced. This would fall right in line with CEO Steve Jo
bs estimation that Snow Leopard would ship in about a year.

Apple Safari 4 Beta - PC & Mac Version Available For Download

After a long time Apple is now back with a fresh new update of its Safari web-browser for Windows and Mac, sticking to their claim of being the world's fastest web-browser the latest version Safari 4 Beta further improves on the speed using the new Nitro Rendering Engine.

Apple Safari 4 Beta New Features :
  • Top sites - enjoy a stunning, at-a-glance preview of your favorite websites without lifting a finger. Safari 4 Beta tracks the sites you browse and ranks your favorites, presenting up to 24 thumbnails on a single page. You can even customize the display by pinning a favorite site to a specific location in the grid. That locks it into position, so you know just where to find it every time you open Top Sites.
  • Cover Flow - Cover Flow offers a highly visual way of reviewing your site history and bookmarked sites, presenting full-page previews of the websites that look exactly as they did when you last visited them.
  • Full History Search - With Full History Search and Cover Flow, what you see is where you went. Safari introduces a dramatic new way to revisit sites, letting you flip through full-page previews of the sites you visited in the past. You may not have total recall, but Safari does, automatically storing all the text and a thumbnail of every page in your history. That makes it easy for Safari to get results even if you remember little about the site you’re searching for.
  • Tabs on Top - Tabs offer a great way to have multiple pages open at the same time in a single browser window. And to switch back and forth with a click. Now Safari takes tabbed browsing to new heights — to the very top of the browser window — instantly providing more room for you to enjoy the sites you’re reading.
  • Nitro Engine - Still the world’s fastest web browser, Safari outraces Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Chrome. On even the most demanding Web 2.0 applications, Safari delivers blazingly fast performance thanks to the industry’s most advanced rendering technologies.
  • Windows Native Look and Feel - Now Safari features a native look — just like other Windows applications — including a native title bar, borders, and toolbars. To provide a consistent Windows experience, Safari now uses Windows standard fonts, but you can choose to use Apple’s crisp anti-aliased fonts if you prefer. Of course, Safari in Windows delivers the same lightning-fast performance provided by the Mac version.
  • Developer Tools - In Safari, developers will find the best set of development tools ever included in a browser. Just turn them on in Safari preferences and use them to examine the structure of a page, debug JavaScript, optimize performance and compatibility, inspect offline databases, or test experimental pieces of code on the fly.
  • Complete list of 150 innovative features in Safari
